Seeing as I finally got around to drawing/rendering a bunch of clouds for Rough wave, I figured it was about time I made a cloud resource for myself and others. This picture has been stuck together from a bunch of old cloud renders as well as (I must confess) some cloud photos I had taken a long time ago and stored. All of this brought to completion with even more digital tricks and renders. This took a damn long time so I hope you guys like it and find some use for it. I will certainly use this for future cloudy pictures when I can't be bothered to make new ones from scratch.
Please reference me AND the picture if you are going to use it. Also please message me or leave a comment detailing where I can find your picture.
WOW! thats really really good looking ^_^ but...what's a render?

Mh... "not entirely all hand drawn"... or something like that. I just called it that because the cloudy tool in Photoshop is called Cloud render... though mine looks a hundred times better than the standard one because I actually did some proper drawing too.

Yes, yours is definitly a hundred times better. The render tool looks more like a light fog.

If you use them right you can put a nice soft twist on something you've drawn. It takes a lot of practice, though... and some really funny colour combinations.

Weird.
Do mixing colors in Photoshop get the same results as mixing the same colors in real paint?
